USB Hard Disk won't work properly!

I have been trying to use a 250gb USB drive, and yes, it is formatted as exFAT, I can even supply a screenshot for you. But for some reason Pi MusicBox doesn’t detect it in any USB slots! Heeeelp!

why not fat32?you must configure fstab config file and put the uuid of the hdd there .first format with gparted to fat32.then go to terminal and type audo blkid to see if you have the uuid
