64 GB USB Flash Not Working Correctly

Hello,

I just purchase a new PNY 64GB USB flash drive to store my music on. When I plug this either directly into the Raspberry Pi or to a USB hub connected to the Raspberry Pi it doesn’t work.

When I run lsusb it tells me the flash drive is 8 GB in size so it isn’t being recognized correctly. The flash drive is formatted in exFAT format.

Does the Musicbox software recognize this format?

Do I need to update some of the software in the image to support exFAT?

I fixed this by reformatting the 64GB usb flash drive as FAT32 instead of exFAT and now everything works as expected.

you probably need exfat-fuse to use it in Raspbian
