I had the same problem. When i run service mopidy run config there was no entry for the Spotify cache directory location. The problem was solved when i manualy set the location (changing the /boot/config/settings.ini) to point in /var/lib/mopidy/spotify. Thank you for the insight.

I found something. Removing and reinstalling the libspotify12 package fixes the problem for me: apt-get -y remove libspotify12 && apt-get install libspotify12 && service mopidy restart hope it lasts, so I can create the final version of MusicBox 0.5.1. Hi all - coming into this discussion a little bit late. Can anyone confirm that mopidy does work with the spotify premium offline feature? In other words, if I set a playlist/album to be available offline in Spotify - Mopidy will download and play it locally from a cache?
