Is there a validate_cert=false setting?

I have Mopidy/Iris working on a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W. I can pull down a stream from a known internet URI. I am attempting to do the exact same thing from a local server on my network (long story). But because the server is using a self-signed cert, I am getting

SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed: unable to get local issuer certificate

I’d like to just disable cert validation in Mopidy, but I can’t find and documentation on how to do so. Is this possible?

Did you try to tell the operating system to trust the server certificate? Meaning you copy the .crt file in /usr/local/share/ca-certificates and run update-ca-certificates …

I’d be really surprised that Mopidy has the setting you’re looking for. Did you check the documentation? It’s quite good.
