I am using Mopidy for listening internet streams. I have radio playlists (gathered from www.radio-browser.info) and they are long. Everytime I click on one of these it takes a long time to load the playlists, it goes through every one of them and checks to see if they are online I guess.
I see the usability in this but this is not necessarily needed and not the method other players use like MPD.
