Pi3mB w/ IQ audio DAC+ but No Sound

Hello,

I am using a Pi 3 Model B w/ IQaudio DAC+.
I installed Musicbox image musicbox_v0.7.0RC7.img, modified my settings for wifi and startup.
I can connect via web client but playing a stream, shows the “pause” and the timer on the stream to indicate it’s playing but I hear nothing through my pre-amp.

I have RCA cables from the DAC+ to my Pre-Amp. The pre-amp is correctly set to where I’ve plugged in my RCA cables but I can hear nothing. If I plug into the 3.5mm jack on the pi I can hear the radio station but not if I use the 3.5mm on the DAC so it’s as if the Pi3 is unable to recognize the DAC but Pi Musicbox should have IQaudio DAC+ support built-in.

I don’t see any obvious settings to modify in the settings.ini.
When I modified the /boot/config.txt to comment out #dtparam=audio=on the pi becomes inaccessible.

Any help is appreciated.

I’ve resolved this.

For anyone interested:
Leave dtparam=audio=on uncommented and add dtoverlay=iqaudio-dacplus to the boot/config.txt and reboot.
