Don’t think any of us mopidy developers have looked at owncloud yet. But yes it is likely they could be combined in some way by creating a mopidy-owncloud extension.
Created https://github.com/mopidy/mopidy/issues/828 so we have the idea in our usual place for collecting potential extensions. Note that typically we (as in the developers working directly on mopidy itself) tend to try and avoid creating too many new extensions. As we just end up spreading ourselves too thin, so it’s up to someone else to realize the actual extension
