BBC High Bitrate URL won't play

I have been trying to play the BBC High Bitrate in Mopidy through Musicbox weblient and also from the mpc command line - this URL works on my Linux box with Rythmbox / VLC and on another Pi running OSMC.

BBC 6Music High Bitrate

In the mopidy log I receive

Any thought or advice gratefully recevied, did a search but could not find anything similar to my eyes.

This looks a lot like an issue we had recently which was specific to HLS streams. I tracked the issue down to our scanner being unable to find the duration of the the stream, at which point it mistakingly tries to treat it like a normal m3u8 playlist (which it isn’t). It seemed like it was specific to the particular HLS stream but I guess it’s more widespread than that. I’ll dig out my hacky fix.

Thanks - read all the pieces - sounds like hacky fix now and just wait for the update - seems like it’s a known issue

Hey,

Did you ever get the HLS stream working?

The link I originally pasted does not appear to be valid anymore but this one works for me.
I have since moved to using Volumio and this works as a webradio if I have dns-trick running.
