I just found a five year old blog post draft telling the story of how Mopidy’s JSON-RPC API and the Mopidy.js library came to be. I published it unedited, hoping that someone will find it an interesting piece of history. I sure did!

Thanks! I’m just beginning to take the plunge into being more than a consumer of Mopidy. A little perspective is a good thing.
Well done for choosing the kind of API that worked best for you, rather than just choosing REST because it was/is popular.
