I have been using mpd for years and am now testing mopidy in order to get more functionalities.
To listen to web radios in mpd, I had their urls stored in m3u-files as playlists. I copied the files to my mopidy server and tuning into the stations is working fine. What I am missing is the track info.
I have read in another post that if the stream provides track info, it is displayed in the clients.
It does effectively but not in every client (QMPDClient is ok, but Iris, MPDroid and Remotedy are not). What’s strange, is if the radio was tuned in over TuneIn, the track info is displayed fine in all clients.
Is there a setting that can be tuned in order to get the track info in every client ?
