No longer connecting to network share with 0.7.0RC6

Upon setting up the new 0.7.0RC6 I discovered I can’t seem to get the musicbox to connect automatically to my network music share. I can SSH to the musicbox and mount the share manually without any trouble, but when musicbox tries to connect itself on startup it always leaves this in the /var/musicbox_startup.log:

Mounting Windows Network drive: //[server]/[share] …
mount error(22): Invalid argument
Refer to the mount.cifs(8) manual page (e.g. man mount.cifs)

Is there a log I should be checking that will give me a more detailed explanation of what’s failing here?

Can you try this solution? Smb connection error 112 host is down

Yup, this worked like a charm – thank you! I must have passed by the solution five times and assumed it didn’t apply to me since my problem hadn’t generated anything (that I saw) about “error 112.” Sorry for the bother!

No worries, it grew into a rather long and confusing thread. I do have an RC7 ready but I am still working on some other fixes I want to get in.
