Musicbox does scan/show all artist and albums

I have set up Musicbox with a USB drive mounted on /music/USB (formatted NTFS)
It has scanned the drive and found about 7523 mp3s, which about correct if I use the find command to count the files.

The strange thing is that it has skipped certain artists completely, that is: They don’t show up under artist or album.
I have checked the mp3s with Tag&Rename, and the info is all filled in. The artist’s name is not exceptional (Ron Boots).

I have set scan_always=true. It takes about two minutes to rescan all my 100GB of files.
I have tried: /etc/init.d/mopidy restart and reboots
Musicbox currently uses mopidy 0.19.5.
The only thing is, that in mopidy.log I see: Found musicbox_webclient configuration errors, the extension has been automatically disabled

The missing artists are not visible, and can not be found using the search either.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Ok, what I did now:
install a pimusicbox from scratch.
add support for ntfs
let it scan my USB disc again

This time it found the missing artists.
After this, I added more albums to those artists, rebooted (scan_always=true), but they don’t show up.
