When I start the playback of a webradio station, the music plays for a fraction of a second, then pauses for a few seconds until the playback starts. Also, it happens the the playback is interrupted after a while. Is there an easy solution to this problem? Better buffering?
I’ve seen that choppy playback has been criticized before.
I use Mopidy on Raspian.
Solution is to apply mczerski’s patch in https://github.com/mopidy/mopidy/issues/1280. No more interrupts and radio streams start much faster.
yes, but unfortunately this is not perfect solution. The problem is with recognition if the track is live or not, sometimes the track is recognized as live but if fact is not. In such case, Mopidy won’t skip to the next track on the end of the current track.
