Filenames with umlauts do not work in playlist

Hi all,

I am having troubles with umlauts in playlists. A file works fine when I select it from the library, but when I try to play the same file from a playlist, the filename is displayed wrongly in the frontend (Mopidy.Mobile in my case) and also cannot be played, because mopidy cannot find the file.

The system locale is en_US.UTF-8. All the playlists are encoded as UTF-8 and also the files in the filesystem are UTF-8 encoded.

Any ideas how I can make playlists work?

I am using the debian jessie mopidy 2.1.0-1 package.

I figured it out: I need to use .m3u8, not .m3u files. The 8 stands for UTF-8.
