How to play .ape fils / install

Hello,
It seems that MusicBox cant play .ape fils (Monkey’s Audio). I found in this post the inforamation that MusicBox need Gstreamer : APE file support?

But the installation doesn"t work and the version is not the latest.
Is it possible to play .ape files? If yes, what and how I have to install?

It’s not possible in pimusicbox 0.7 as we still use gstreamer0.10 and as that linked post says, you need gstreamer1.0.
