Download and store files offline

Hello guys,
I have a different sort of application that I would like to use the pi musicbox for. I want to build a headless radio for my car that would stream my Spotify radio to a radio station or aux. Powered from the car, I would like this to be hidden somewhere and autoplay.

My question is: Is there a way for the pi musicbox to download and store Spotify playlists for offline use?

I am afraid we would require offline support in mopidy-spotify for this and that is still not available. I don’t think anyone has been working on it but if you are interested see https://github.com/mopidy/mopidy-spotify/issues/10
