Is there a GPIO line on the Raspberry Pi that could be set when the musicbox software is ready. I would like to be able to mute my stereo system until musicbox is completely operational to prevent pops that might blow my speakers. I could use the GPIO line to turn on a relay which would switch my speakers on.
The auto play feature accepts any command. But it’s purely timer based rather than a robust check that musicbox is ready.

Sorry, my previous reply wasn’t very clear, it accepts any command if you go along and edit startup.sh. Maybe it should be changed to a more generic system that executes a script instead.
