# Scrobbler not working and constant connection spam

I cannot get mopidy-scrobbler to work.  
My config has [scrobbler], with enabled = true and my username/password, set up. But when I use _mopidy config_ the section doesn’t appear!  
Furthermore, I’ve noticed that recently when I run mopidy it continually outputs  
INFO New MPD connection from [::ffff:127.0.0.1]:[port]  
With [port] being a number increasing by four each time. I only have ncmpcpp running, so what could be causing this?
