Hifiberry problems with streaming

What setting for gstreaming buffer do you have in /boot/config/settings.ini?
I have: output = alsasink buffer-time=200000 latency-time=10000

I’ve reverted to mopidy_tunein 0.1.2 for the time being. I changed my gstreaming buffer setting to the same as yours but still suffer the same pause problem.

Thanks for the log, your error case is quite interesting and the new tunein
version doesn’t handle it very well (as you found out!)

What happens if you just try and add
http://sc27.frf.llnw.net:80/stream/bbcmedia_radio3_mf_p as a stream uri in
the musicbox Web client? Does that work?

Unfortunately a builder has cut through my phone line at home so I am
unable to do any proper experiments. Very frustrating.

I’ve put that URI in as a stream URI and it plays. I still get the pause before it starts though.

Sounds like getting the gst_debug log might be worthwhile. And doing a
wired connection experiment.

I’ve managed to do a wired test - no difference to the problem unfortunately.

The full GST debug log is at http://pastebin.com/gZFSXTiv (it killed dpaste…)

I just thought I’d also try spotify as that streams as well and that seems to work perfectly so it looks like the problem is only when streaming a radio station or podcast.

I’ve since tried the latest image and, like @DarkHelmet, I don’t experience this problem. Sadly the GST debug log doesn’t reveal anything (to me) either.

Have you tried disabling everything except TuneIn/Dirble?

Hi

Thanks for all your help so far on this. I’ve tried disabling
everything but no luck. I’ll keep looking and report back anything I find.

Mat.

Hi

Firstly, thanks for looking into this. I have tried disabling
everything but I still get the same results. I’ll keep looking and post
anything I find.

Thanks

MAt.
