# Help! Icecast2 no playback

Hi, I’m using Mopidy 2.1.0 in ubuntu 18.04 with Iris frontend and I cannot make it work with Icecast2: I’ve tried all the examples in mopidy docs with no luck, but examples to test if icecast works with gst-launch are ok.  
When I set mopidy’s output to autosink it works well, but when I try to use shout2send Iris front-end shows 4 seconds of playback and then restarts, but no audio.  
In Icecast2 status page there’s no active mountpoint.  
If I add a in icecast.xml a fallback mount, the fallback appears at icecast admin page → mountpoint list.  
For example: I’ve added in `icecast.xml`

And in `mopidy.conf`

But in `http://192.168.1.127:8000/admin/listmounts.xsl` I only see `Mountpoint /silence.ogg` and can’t play any song. (Only tried with Spotify, not local ones).

Nope, I tried running the output command with gst-launch in the command line and it gave me errors so I think that it has something to do with that.  
If you have luck with it, please let me know

18.04 is no longer a supported operating system, nor is Mopidy 2.x and that config doesn’t match what’s currently in the install docs

If you have a new issue please start a new topic and include everything required when reporting an issue. Check the Mopidy troubleshooting documentation for what this is.
