# Does Mopidy have anything similar to mpd satellite servers?

The title says it all. I have mpd set up in my house with one master server and a bunch of satellite servers. Does Mopidy have any features that allow for a similar configuration, with a master server sharing it’s database with the satellite servers?

No, we don’t have anything like mpd’s proxy database plugin so we can only have the master MPD server accessing the media remotely (via mounting a shared filesystem and Mopidy-Local or Mopidy-dLeyna). A proxy feature doesn’t sound difficult to implement but it’s for someone interested to do.
